Accounts

Accounts are your financial assets: bank cards, cash, savings, investments, and debts.

Account Types

💵 Cash

For wallet, physical cash money.

Parameters: Name, initial balance, currency

💰 Savings

For savings accounts, deposits.

Parameters: Name, balance, interest rate (optional), currency

💳 Credit Card

For credit cards with limits. Balance shows as negative (debt).

Parameters: Name, current balance, credit limit, APR, currency

📊 Debt

For personal debts, money owed to you or by you.

Parameters: Name, debt amount, contact (optional)

🏠 Real Estate

For houses, apartments, land, and property.

Parameters: Name, current value, currency

📈 Investment

For general investment accounts.

Parameters: Name, current value, currency

💼 Brokerage

For stock brokerage accounts with multiple positions.

Parameters: Name, portfolio value, currency

₿ Crypto

For cryptocurrency wallets across 18 blockchains.

Parameters: Wallet address, blockchain network

📃 Bonds

For government and corporate bonds.

Parameters: Name, face value, maturity date, currency

🚀 Startups

For startup equity and venture investments.

Parameters: Name, investment amount, equity %, current valuation

🚗 Vehicles

For cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles.

Parameters: Name, make, model, year, purchase price, estimated value

🥇 Precious Metals

For gold, silver, platinum, and other metals.

Parameters: Metal type, weight (oz), purity, spot price

🏦 Mortgage

For home loans and mortgages.

Parameters: Name, original amount, interest rate, monthly payment, term

📋 Taxes

For tax obligations and reserves.

Parameters: Name, amount, due date

❤️ Charity

For charitable donations and contributions tracking.

Parameters: Name, amount, organization

Creating an Account

Quick Creation (10 seconds)

  1. Home screen → + → Account
  2. Select account type
  3. Enter name and initial balance
  4. Tap Save

For detailed setup, you can also configure:

  • Icon — choose from the library
  • Color — for account card
  • Include in total balance — whether to count in overall net worth
  • Show on home screen — display on Hub

Balance Adjustment

If your app balance doesn't match reality:

  1. Open the account
  2. Tap ⋯ → Balance Adjustment
  3. Enter the real balance
  4. Thrust creates an adjustment transaction automatically
  5. Tap Save

Transfers Between Accounts

Quick Transfer

  1. + → Transfer
  2. Enter amount
  3. Select source account (from)
  4. Select destination account (to)
  5. Tap Save
Note: Transfers don't affect total balance — they only move money between your accounts.

Multi-Currency Support

Thrust supports 20+ currencies with automatic conversion:

  • Create accounts in different currencies
  • Thrust auto-converts to your primary currency
  • See total balance in your currency
  • Account details show balance in original currency
  • Exchange rates update every 24 hours

Archiving & Deleting

Archive

Account no longer used but want to keep history.

  • • Hidden from main list
  • • Not counted in total balance
  • • Transaction history preserved
  • • Can restore anytime

Delete

Permanently remove account and all data.

  • ⚠️ Deletes ALL transactions
  • ⚠️ Cannot be undone
  • Confirm by typing account name
  • Use archiving instead if unsure

Privacy and Data

All account data in Thrust is stored locally on your iPhone. In Ghost Mode, account balances, transaction history, and all financial data are never transmitted anywhere — no cloud, no Thrust servers, no third parties. In Connected Mode, account data syncs via Apple CloudKit, encrypted with your Apple ID. Thrust cannot access or read CloudKit data.

All account data is stored locally on your device. If you delete Thrust, all account data is deleted with it.
