Your Hub
The Hub is the first thing you see when you open Thrust. Instead of charts you have to decode, it reads your money and tells you what is going on — then lets you arrange it however you think.
What is the Hub
One scrollable home screen that turns your numbers into a plain-language read on your finances. From the top down:
Financial Health, Pace, and Buffer — your whole picture at a glance. Pinned to the top.
A short first-person briefing on the one or two things that matter most right now.
A swipeable row of single-number answers — safe to spend, income, surplus, what is due.
Capital, Budgets, Goals, and Subscriptions — in the order you choose, in the layout you pick.
The three rings
The rings sit at the very top and never move. Each one answers a different question, so a single glance tells you where you stand.
A single 0–100 score for how your money is doing overall — savings rate, cash buffer, spending pace, debt load, and your tracking streak rolled into one number.
Tap it for the full breakdown of what is helping and what is holding the score back. Higher is better.
Whether you are spending faster or slower than you should this far into the month, measured against your budget.
The ring fills as the month runs. Under 100% means you are on track; over means you are outpacing your plan. Needs a monthly budget to show.
How many months you could cover from your savings if income stopped — your safety cushion in plain terms.
Shown in months. A full ring is six months of expenses covered. Builds as your emergency fund and savings grow.
CFO Summary
Right under the rings, your CFO gives you a short briefing in the first person — not a chart, a sentence. It reads your latest numbers entirely on your device and surfaces the one or two things worth your attention: a budget about to tip over, a goal within reach, a recommended limit, a risk forming.
- Pull down to refresh — and the briefing rotates to the next thing it wants to flag, so it never repeats yesterday’s news.
- Tap to expand — and you go straight into a full conversation with your CFO to dig deeper.
- It picks like a real advisor — actionable warnings and recommendations come before nice-to-know facts.
It gets sharper over time. In the early weeks you may see a quiet note that your CFO grows more accurate every month as it learns your patterns — then it retires itself.
Insight chips
Below the briefing, a swipeable row of chips each answer one question with one number — no digging required.
- Safe to spend — what is truly free after bills, budgets, and goals
- Today — a daily limit that adapts to what is left in the month
- Income, Surplus, and Spending — this month at a glance
- Upcoming — everything due in the next seven days
- A budget nearing its limit, a goal’s progress, an emergency-fund gap
Tap any chip for the full picture and a one-tap action — create a goal, move money to it, or jump to the budget. Available chips come first; the rest are a tap away.
Make it yours
The Hub is not fixed. Tap Edit Hub at the bottom to arrange it around how you actually think about your money.
- Drag sections into the order you want
- Hide the ones you do not need, bring them back any time
- Tap a section to pick how it looks
Pick a layout per section. Capital can be net worth with an income-vs-expense flow bar, a donut split by asset type, or a balance chart over time. Budgets and Goals can be progress bars, a compact list, or a row of rings. Choose what reads best for you and tap Apply.
Subscriptions, tracked for you
Thrust finds your recurring charges on its own. When the same merchant bills you on a regular cadence, it becomes a tracked subscription automatically — no list to build, no setup. The Hub shows what is next, how much, and how many days away.
- Automatic detection — recurring charges are spotted from your transactions and turned into subscriptions for you; a price change gets noticed too.
- Card or calendar view — tap the toggle to see your subscriptions as a clean list or laid out across the month.
- Mark as Paid — tap a subscription and mark it paid — Thrust logs the payment and rolls the next due date forward. Edit it from the same tap.
Want to add one by hand? Open the Subscriptions section from the Hub and add it there. Everything stays on your device.
Built-in calculator
Every amount field has a calculator built right in. Splitting a bill or adding two numbers? Tap +, −, ×, ÷ on the bar above the keyboard, type 45+12, hit = — no switching to a separate calculator app and back.
The same bar lets you switch the currency or the entry type without losing your place, and every total is figured on exact amounts so the cents are always right.
Adding a transaction
Tap + from anywhere to log a transaction on one screen, with every field in reach — amount, account, category, date, notes, and tags. Prefer hands-free? Dictate it by voice, or scan a receipt and let Thrust fill in the details for you to confirm.
Found a bug? Take a screenshot
See something off? Just take a screenshot. Thrust notices and offers a one-tap bug report with your screenshot already attached. Add a note about what you expected, submit, and it helps us fix it fast.
